If you’re living in remote North Queensland, NWRH may be able to provide the healthcare services you need. We are a not-for-profit organisation offering health services in Doomadgee.

Yes, disability support is available in remote areas. Here at NWRH, we provide an array of services to people with disabilities, regardless of where they live. This includes in-home and community-based services. In some circumstances, we can arrange transport to and from medical appointments.

Our health professionals will take the time to listen to your unique needs so that we can provide suitable support. We work with individuals living with a disability, managing chronic illness, having mental health difficulties and more. We also offer support for carers so that you can take a break and ensure your loved one will be in good hands. Our services include:
